When I began working at Trancos in June 2016, eHealthWire was one of the most recently acquired online properties. eHealthWire, was meant to be a resource dedicated to connecting our existing audience with content on food and dietary trends, research on nutrition and fitness, as well as food news. I established the brand voice for eHealthWire and helped build the site from the ground up.
The angle and content of eHealthWire gradually shifted over time. In the first couple weeks, the content I produced for eHealthWire and HealthyPage shared many similarities. As our company’s Marketing Team devised new strategies and approaches for eHealthWire, I began to produce more content regarding food news and studies that would predominantly interest scientists and topics that would engage a wider, popular audience.
In November 2016, Trancos ceased publishing on eHealthWire because it did not perform as well as other domains, whose content more easily and rapidly went viral. At this time, I stopped writing for eHealthWire and shifted my focus to KeyRecipes.
